Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,465 per week in Denton, TX

The role involves working on a medical unit with a capacity of 43 beds. The staff consists of approximately 70 members. The day shift typically includes 1 charge nurse, 1 unit secretary, 9-10 RNs, and 4 CNAs. The night shift typically includes 1 charge nurse, 9-10 RNs, and 4 CNAs. Patient ratios are approximately 1:5-6 during the day and 1:6 at night. EMR system in use is Meditech. The unit performs various types of surgeries, excluding cardiac and open neurosurgery. Candidates should be willing to jump in, be team players, and ask questions when unsure of processes. Floating may involve medical units or emergency department for med/surg holding. Scrub color for the position is royal blue. Self-scheduling is allowed within reason, and rotating weekends are required.
