Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,466 per week in Austin, TX

Job Title: RN - Med Surg Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: Medical/Surgical experience Description: This is a contract position for an RN in Med Surg. The assignment is for 13 weeks on a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Rotating weekends are required, with no call expected. The unit has 32 beds and a staff of 50. The patient ratio is 1:5 during the day shift and 1:6 during the night shift. The unit utilizes Welch Allyn vital signs machines and mobile devices for communication. Electronic Medical Records are managed through Meditech. Permanent positions are available on the unit. Candidates with experience in transplants, dialysis patients, and diabetic patients are preferred. The unit performs all surgical procedures, including kidney transplants. The ideal candidate is a team player who takes initiative. Scrub color required is navy. This unit has received the Unit of Distinction award in 2021.
