Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,478 per week in Arlington, TX

Job Title: Travel RN - Med Surg Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Acute Care Experience Description: This is a travel position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical. The shift is from 7 AM to 7 PM. The unit has 29 beds and a staffing level of 42. Day shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 2 RNs, 2 LVNs, 2 Techs, and 1 HUC. Night shift consists of 1 charge nurse and 2 RNs and 2 LVNs. The patient ratio is 6:1. The unit utilizes standard equipment and an EMR system. Candidates must have acute care experience. Preferred skills include neuro med/surg and general medicine and orthopedics. Typical procedures performed on the unit include abdominal fluid removal and central line placement. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people. Dress code requires royal blue scrubs, with no sweat or t-shirts, no crocs, no artificial nails, and no extreme hair colors. Weekends will be scheduled every other weekend, and there is no on-call requirement.
