Description:
This position is for a Travel RN specializing in Medical Surgical.
You will work in a 12-bed unit with a team of 12 staff members.
The staff consists of 2 RNs and 1 Patient Care Technician on day shifts, with similar staffing on night shifts.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 6:1.
There is no specialized equipment in use on the unit.
Meditech is the electronic medical record system in place.
Candidates must exhibit compassion, motivation, and collaboration.
No specific procedures are performed on this unit.
Candidates with experience in Meditech will be prioritized.
Weekends and on-call shifts are scheduled every other weekend.
Arriving on time for shift huddles is mandatory.
Call-ins must occur a minimum of 2 hours before a shift begins.
