The patient-to-nurse ratio is 5:1. Staffing includes a charge nurse, RNs, techs, and a secretary. The documentation system used is Meditechs. Every other weekend is required, but requests for time off are accepted and scheduled requests are accommodated. Travelers are expected to take turns floating if needed. White boards must be filled out for patient experience requirements. No certifications are required. The required uniform colors are navy blue, black, royal blue, or any shade of gray scrubs. Unit-specific policies and guidelines will be provided upon request. The team works well together, and previous travelers have had great experiences.
