Key Responsibilities of the 1st Acute Med/Surg RN- Apply nursing knowledge and skills in the delivery of patient care
- Assess patient/family needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members to monitor progress
- Promote and advocate for the health, safety, and rights of patients
- Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and initiate improvements
- Motivate and educate the patient/family for continued care and healing at home
- Encourage mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
- Comply with infection prevention strategies and maintain necessary competencies
- Promote a healing environment through meaningful connections with patients/families
Requirements of the 1st Acute Med/Surg RN- NYS RN Licensure Required
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
- One (1) Year Experience serving in Med/Surg environment as a Registered Nurse
