# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical – Texas

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Denton, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; rotating weekends required; self-scheduling allowed within reason for balanced scheduling

Highlights:

• 43-bed Medical/Surgical unit serving a diverse acute care patient population
• Night shift nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 with charge nurse and CNA support
• EMR system: Meditech
• Exposure to a wide variety of surgical cases excluding cardiac and open neurosurgery
• May float to medical units and emergency department to provide med/surg hold nurse support
• Professional dress code with royal blue scrubs

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the State of Texas or compact state eligibility
• Previous Medical/Surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting required
• Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred
• BLS certification required
