Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,612 per week in Tulsa, OK

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Previous charge experience Experience with patient ratios of 5-6 Description: 36-hour night shifts. Unit accepts first-time travelers. Patient ratios are 1:5-6. Unit has 24 beds. Additional patient diagnoses include ESRD, Urology, AKI, diabetic complications, and various medical-surgical diagnoses. Special procedures are performed on a renal unit. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy among others. Travelers are expected to float to similar units when necessary. Brief orientation will be provided on the unit. Isolation precautions and emergency management skills are required. Familiarity with peripheral line care and non-invasive airway management is needed.
