Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,619 per week in Cushing, OK

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: 1. Previous charge experience preferred 2. Experience using Epic charting system preferred 3. Travel experience preferred Description: This position requires a registered nurse specializing in medical surgical nursing. The nurse will work 36 hours per week on night shifts. The patient ratio on nights is 6:1. Weekend work is required. Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are not accepted. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Candidates must possess ACLS and BLS certifications. The nurse will be responsible for various patient care tasks including wound care and telemetry monitoring. Additional support is available from interdisciplinary teams. Patients may present with diagnoses such as sepsis, pneumonia, and CHF. Travelers may be expected to float to like units as needed.
