Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,619 per week in Tulsa, OK

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: - 2 years preferred (open to reviewing 1+ years experience) License: - Valid RN license Certifications: - BLS required Must-Have: - Experience with the EPIC documentation system preferred - Skills in blood product administration, colostomy/ileostomy management, feeding tube care and management, insulin administration, and wound care Description: This position is for a registered nurse in the medical surgical specialty. The nurse will work night shifts. There is a patient ratio of 1:5-6. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. The position requires floating to similar units based on facility needs. The unit has a daily census of 25 and consists of 25 beds. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Patient populations include adults and geriatrics with mixed medical surgical conditions. Additional skills include starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry monitoring, and tracheostomy care. This role does not require on-call duties. Time off requests must be approved by management. Preferred candidates will have previous experience in charge roles and patient ratio familiarity.
