Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,641 per week in San Antonio, TX

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Pre-Op Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 7 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Meditech Magic experience - PreOp experience Description: Data collection and management for patient care. Responsible for preparing patients for surgical procedures. Utilize monitoring equipment such as EKGs and glucometers. Conduct bedside monitoring for patient safety and comfort. Maintain accurate electronic medical records. Manage a patient ratio of 3:1. Perform typical procedures, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Plastics, and Cath Lab cases. Demonstrate excellent IV skills. Possess the ability to take rotating weekday and weekend call. Show flexibility in scheduling and willingness to float to various areas. Display motivation to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments. Participate in rotating weekend call every 4-5 weeks. Dress code requires navy scrubs.
