Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,696 per week in Cartersville, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in general medical-surgical nursing - Preferred experience with telemetry nursing - Skills in central line management and dysrhythmia interpretation Description: Unit details involve a variety of diagnoses including general medical-surgical cases. This role may also involve care for patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis and recovery from certain procedures. Weekend duty is every other weekend. Flexibility to accommodate facility scheduling is required. No schedule requests can be accommodated. Travelers may be required to float within facility as needed. If a major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work. If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Full compliance is required to start on time. The patient care team includes support from various interdisciplinary teams such as physical therapy and social services. Patient ratios on days, nights, and weekends are 6 patients per nurse. Daily census averages around 20 patients, with a total of 20 beds in the unit.
