Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,713 per week in Englewood, CO

Job Opportunity – Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg / Neurology – Colorado

Start Date: July 23, 2026

Location: Englewood, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Day Shift. Patient ratio typically 5:1 or 6:1.

Highlights:

• 38-bed Neuro Medical/Surgical unit with an experienced team of 55 staff members
• Specialized neurology patient population including stroke and neuro assessments (NIH/stroke protocols, AANN guidelines)
• Day shift staffing includes 2 charge nurses (without patient assignments), 4-5:1 RN ratios, and 2 PCTs for support
• Equipment includes IV pumps, seizure monitoring, Bi-pap, C-pap, and glucometers
• Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
• Collaborative, engaged team focused on patient experience and critical thinking

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Medical/Surgical experience required
• Current RN license in good standing
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
• Neurology experience strongly preferred
• Meditech EMR experience a plus

Typical Procedures and Responsibilities:

• NIH stroke assessments and comprehensive neuro assessments
• Fall risk assessment and prevention
• Trach care and management
• Feeding tube care
• Monitoring and care for seizure patients
