Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Must have an active Registered Nurse license in the state where the position is located. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 - Familiarity with the Epic charting system - Ability to float as needed Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit. The nurse will manage all aspects of patient care for adults and geriatric patients. The daily census on the unit is approximately 35 patients. Nurses will be responsible for a range of medical surgical diagnoses. Responsibilities include trach care and management, with respiratory therapy support available as needed. Other essential skills include administration of blood products, management of central lines and PICC lines, care for feeding tubes, and monitoring patients with various medical conditions. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. The position may require floating to other units as necessary. We aim to provide quality care and support to every patient. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
