Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,724 per week in Augusta, GA

Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical RN – Georgia

Location: Augusta, Georgia

Schedule: 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required; max 7 days PTO (blackout dates apply during Spring Break, April 4-12)

Highlights:

• 42-bed post-surgical unit caring for adults to geriatric patients
• Diverse case mix including orthopedics, urology, colorectal, bariatrics, neurology, and general surgery patients
• 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio across all shifts
• Epic EMR required; experience with Pyxis and SBAR communication preferred
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• 24-hour paid orientation with non-billable module training

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Georgia or Compact state required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios in medical-surgical setting
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Willingness to float within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Full compliance documentation required to start on time
