Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,724 per week in Harvey, IL

Patient ratios are 1:6. First-time travelers are accepted. Every other weekend is required. Floating between units is required. Certifications required are BLS and ACLS. NIHSS certification is preferred. Block scheduling accommodations are not available. Local candidates are accepted. Pending licenses are not accepted. A maximum of seven days of requested time off is allowed. Charting will be completed in an electronic medical record system. Unit details include interdisciplinary support from various services. Common patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. The registered nurse will be responsible for all aspects of tracheostomy care and management. Special equipment requirements will be assessed as necessary. Travel experience is not required but preferred. All allied health positions require state or national certification and/or license. Mandatory clinical experience in Level 1 Trauma is required. Modules of training will need to be completed, which last 2-3 hours.
