Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,727 per week in Harvey, IL

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical nursing - Charge experience is preferred - Must be able to float between units - Able to work every other weekend Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in a medical-surgical setting. The nurse will be responsible for all aspects of patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:6. Experience with telemetry and tracheostomy care is required. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Must have the ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias. Floating to various units is expected as per staffing needs. The position will require adherence to scheduling commitments including weekend shifts. Strong communication and time management skills are essential.
