Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,727 per week in Harvey, IL

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year preferred License: Must have valid state RN license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - Two years of previous charge experience preferred - Experience with telemetry and management of dysrhythmias Description: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for all aspects of trach care and management. Telemetry experience is preferred. The patient ratio will be 1 RN to 6 patients. Every other weekend shift required. Floating to other units may be necessary. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is important. Candidates must be open to accommodating requests for weekend coverage. CPI certification is not offered at the facility. Interdisciplinary support will include physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. The unit will see adult and geriatric patients. Charting will be completed using an electronic health record system. All applicants must have a commitment to patient care and safety. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Level 1 trauma. Candidates must provide proof of their nursing license upon application. It is essential to adhere to all compliance requirements throughout the contract duration.
