Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med/Surg

Provide high-quality patient care in a Med/Surg unit
Manage patient ratios typically between 1:1 - 3:1
Handle surgical and medical management procedures such as cholecystectomy and appendectomy
Independently assess and adapt to patient needs and unit requirements

Requirements of the RN - Med/Surg

1 year of current hospital acute care Med/Surg experience
Valid BLS certification
Preferred: Mom/baby experience with NRP certification
