Key Responsibilities of the RN - Oncology
Administer chemotherapy
Perform central line, mediport access, and lab draws
Transfuse blood products
Implement CHG baths, including care for central lines and dressings
Requirements of the RN - Oncology
Active TX RN License
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
5+ years of experience, including Med-Surg/Tele
Oncology experience required
Experience with mediports, PICCs, and central lines
Chemotherapy Certification preferred
Meditech experience preferred
