Description:
The Registered Nurse will work in a medical surgical environment on the night shift.
This position requires a nurse to handle a patient ratio of 1:6.
CPI certification is preferred, and BCLS certification is mandatory.
The unit accepts first-time travelers.
Floating to similar units may be required based on facility needs.
Nurses will be part of a rapid response team activation.
Knowledge and experience in hemodialysis management, wound care, and blood product administration are essential.
The daily census on the unit is approximately 32 patients.
Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
Additional skills required include managing central lines, IV administration, and oxygen therapy.
Weekend shifts will be required as per the scheduling policy.
