Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,790 per week in Englewood, CO

Job Title: Travel Nurse - Med/Surg Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: RN License Certifications: BLS preferred; ACLS, Burn Care, Wound Care, Ostomy Care experience preferred Description: Travel RN position available in Med/Surg unit. The unit typically has 18-20 beds and a staff of 35. Day shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 2-3 nurses, 1 LPN, and 1-3 PCTs. Night shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 3 nurses, 1 LPN, and 1-2 PCTs. Patient ratios are 6:1 with LPN support. Equipment used includes Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, and PCA pumps. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience. Wound and dressing care is a typical procedure performed in the unit.
