Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,790 per week in Nashville, TN

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current RN license required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), NIH Certification Must-Have: - Experience with renal medical patients including peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis - Ability to care for young adult to late adult patients Description: The unit consists of 21 beds. The population served includes renal medical patients as well as general medical patients. The ages of patients served range from young adult to late adult (18 - 60+). The nurse to patient ratio is 1:6. Staffing includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and Nurse Interns (NIs). An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team. Travelers may be asked to float to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius of their original assignment. Floating assignments will be based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity. Travelers will always be notified before their scheduled shift if a float assignment is required.
