Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,794 per week in Nashville, TN

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Medical/Surgical Specialty: RN Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current Registered Nurse license Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, NIH Certification Must-Have: Experience with renal medical patients, peritoneal dialysis, and hemodialysis Description: 21 beds available for patient care. Population served includes renal medical patients as well as general medical patients. Ages of patients served range from young adults to late adults (18 - 60+). Nurse to patient ratio is 1:6. Staffing includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, and Nurse Interns. An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team. Traveling nurses may be asked to float to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius of their assignment. Floating will be based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity. Travelers will always be notified in advance if a float assignment is required.
