Key Responsibilities of the Travel MedSurg Neuro Trauma RN:
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients recovering from neurological injuries, trauma, and complex medical conditions
- Monitor neurological status, vital signs, and patient progress closely
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain detailed, accurate patient documentation per hospital policy
- Educate patients and families on recovery, safety, and discharge planning
- Promote patient safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
Requirements of the Travel MedSurg Neuro Trauma RN:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Colorado or compact state)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent MedSurg or Neuro Trauma experience
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills
