Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Epic experience is required. Previous charge experience is preferred. Travel experience is required. Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in medical surgical. The unit primarily cares for a geriatric population with varying diagnoses. The nurse will have a patient ratio of 6:1 during all shifts. Floating may be required within the facility and scope of practice as needed. There is no call required for this position. The nurse will be expected to work on alternating weekends. Working during major holidays may be necessary, depending on the assignment schedule. Full compliance is required to start on time; if not compliant, the start date may be pushed back. Compliance documents must be submitted on time to ensure timely onboarding. Travelers must complete the core onboarding items and labs as required. Modules will be completed during orientation and vary by specialty. The facility has interdisciplinary support services available. Additional patient care details include a daily census of around 26 and a mix of adult and geriatric patients.
