Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,840 per week in Cape Girardeau, MO

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks (up to 26 weeks upon request) Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Post-surgical experience, including urology, orthopedic, and general care Ability to learn and take on charge responsibilities Team player with good communication skills Description: Delivers nursing care by developing a nursing diagnosis. Establishes nursing care objectives. Defines nursing interventions. Provides physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families. Assists in understanding patient conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Notes changing conditions and needs. Re-evaluates care objectives as necessary. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Requested time off of up to 5 days can be automatically approved. Must be willing to work at least one major holiday. Patient ratios are 1:6. Unit has 23 beds and uses customary equipment, including IV pumps. EMR system utilized is EPIC. Personality fit desired is a team player who communicates effectively. Dress code requires black scrubs.
