Experience with patient population including adults and geriatrics. 2. Familiarity with common patient diagnoses such as appendicitis, cholecystitis, and pneumonia. 3. Ability to use equipment including NGT, chest tubes, feeding tubes, and wound vacs. 4. Competent in managing a patient ratio of 1:6. 5. Proficiency with electronic health record systems. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical nursing. The nurse will work on a unit with a bed capacity of 34 and an average daily census of 27. The patient population includes adults to geriatrics with various medical conditions. Responsibilities include the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care. Floating within the facility may be required based on patient needs and scope of practice. Holiday work is expected if it falls within the assignment period. Compliance with all onboarding requirements is essential to start on time.
