Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,843 per week in Augusta, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required. License: Active RN license (Georgia or Compact license required). Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: 1 year of experience in a medical surgical unit. Ability to float within facility/scope of practice as needed. Experience with Epic charting system. Willingness to work every other weekend unless specified otherwise. Flexibility to cover holidays as required. Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit. The patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics. You will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:6 on a 38-bed unit. You will work with a daily average census of 33 patients. The role includes the management of various medical surgical diagnoses. You will utilize general skills such as peripheral line care and oxygen administration. Experience with rapid response and code teams is preferred. Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge are essential. Interdisciplinary support will be available, including services such as physical therapy and respiratory services. You will be expected to work during major holidays as necessary. All RTO must be finalized prior to submission.
