Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN), Ortho/Spine Unit – Tennessee

Start Date: September 9, 2026

Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48-hour guarantee; 4 weekend shifts per schedule; rotating float policy

• 26-bed Ortho/Spine specialty unit focusing on knee and hip replacements and multi-level spine surgeries
• 6:1 patient ratio with support from unit secretaries, PCTs, and navigators
• Meditech documentation system for streamlined charting and patient management
• Specialized equipment including CPM machines, SCDs, walkers, and coolers
• Navy scrubs provided as unit dress code
• Patient-centered care model with strong emphasis on patient experience (72% target)

Requirements:

• Active RN License in Tennessee (or compact state license)
• Experience in orthopedic and/or spine nursing preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated compassion and teamwork
• Commitment to patient experience standards and quality outcomes
• Flexibility to work rotating weekends and float as needed
