Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in the Medical Surgical specialty. The role requires a minimum of one year of nursing experience. First-time travelers are accepted. The patient population includes adults to geriatrics. The nurse will work in a general Med Surg unit. The nurse-patient ratio is 1:6. Familiarity with Epic and Pyxis systems is required. The scrubs color is navy blue. Nurses are expected to work every other weekend unless specified otherwise. Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be required. If assigned one major holiday, the nurse is expected to work it. For two major holidays, working both is expected. For three holidays, the nurse is expected to work two of them. Full compliance with onboarding requirements is required to start on time. Compliance deadlines will be communicated during the hiring process. All requests for time off must be finalized at submission. No requests for schedule changes or time off can be made during orientation week.
