Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,857 per week in Augusta, GA

Job Opportunity – Charge Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) – Georgia

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Schedule: 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 38-bed Medical Surgical unit with an average daily census of 33 patients. Every other weekend required. Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed. Holiday coverage required per facility policy.

Highlights:

• Medical Surgical unit with remote telemetry and a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics
• Epic EMR experience required; facility also utilizes Pyxis and SBAR communication protocols
• Charge RN experience required with minimum 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Contract assignments with up to 7 days of approved time off (must be finalized at time of submission)
• 24 hours of orientation provided; non-billable hours factored into contract based on assignment length

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Previous Charge RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience with 1:6 patient ratio experience
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; all items due Tuesday before start date
• Core compliance items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
