Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,858 per week in Fayetteville, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Float Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Charge experience - Patient ratio experience: 4-5 - Charting system experience (Epic preferred) Description: Unit details include ER Hold - Medical Surgical Float. Weekend shifts are required every other week. There is no call required for this position. Floating will occur within facility and scope of practice as needed. Candidates will undergo a clinical screening to determine fit. If candidates pass the clinical screening and meet guidelines, they will be reviewed by the manager for final decision. Requests for time off (RTO) must be finalized at the time of submission. Travelers are expected to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period. If one or two major holidays fall during the assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested. If three major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler may request one holiday RTO. Full compliance is required to start on time; non-compliance will result in a two-week pushback due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers. Candidates are required to have experience with Med/Surg, including use of rapid response teams, and management of peripheral lines. Knowledge of non-invasive airway management and isolation precautions is important. The patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient census and number of beds vary based on unit.
