Staffing & Support
- Tech support available on both day and night shifts
- Unit secretary available 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Documentation System
Scheduling Requirements
- 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend requirement (4 shifts per 4-week schedule)
Floating Policy
- Contract labor staff float first
- Rotation-based floating when multiple contract staff are scheduled
Patient Care Expectations
Candidates are expected to:
- Deliver attentive and compassionate patient care
- Participate in bedside shift reporting
- Build strong patient and family connections
- Include patients and families in the plan of care

Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Active RN License
- BLS Certification
- Recent Med/Surg Experience
- Strong prioritization and multitasking skills
- IV start competency
- Basic wound care experience
- Experience with:
- Surgical drains
- Nasogastric tubes
- Chest tubes
Preferred Skills
- Trauma Med/Surg experience preferred
Procedures Performed on Unit
- General Med/Surg and Trauma patient care
Certifications Required
Dress Code
- Navy scrub top and bottom required
