• Tech support available on both day and night shifts
• Unit secretary available 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• IV Pumps
• Telemetry
• SCDs
• Continuous Pulse Oximetry Machines
• Feeding Pumps
• PCA Pumps
• EKG Machines
• Bladder Scanner
• iMobile Communication Technology

• Meditech

• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend requirement (4 shifts per 4-week schedule)

• Contract labor staff float first
• Rotation-based floating when multiple contract staff are scheduled

Candidates are expected to:

• Deliver attentive and compassionate patient care
• Participate in bedside shift reporting
• Build strong patient and family connections
• Include patients and families in the plan of care

• Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Level II Trauma Center
• Certified Chest Pain Center

• Active RN License
• BLS Certification
• Recent Med/Surg Experience
• Strong prioritization and multitasking skills
• IV start competency
• Basic wound care experience
• Experience with:
  • Surgical drains
  • Nasogastric tubes
  • Chest tubes

• Trauma Med/Surg experience preferred

• General Med/Surg and Trauma patient care

• BLS

• Navy scrub top and bottom required
