# Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Arlington, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 guaranteed hours per week; 6:1 patient ratio; day and night shifts available; floating required per hospital needs

• 30-bed medical/surgical acute care unit with fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Post-surgical care including cholecystectomy and cystoscopy with stent placement, plus pain management and CIWA protocol patients
• Meditech EMR system utilized across the facility
• Modern equipment including Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady, and bladder scanners
• Collaborative team structure with charge nurse, RN staff, PCTs, and unit support
• No on-call requirement

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license or compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Medical/surgical or acute care nursing experience required
• Preferred: Previous experience in acute care settings or healthcare system experience
