Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. License: State or compact license required prior to start. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CMSRN or RN-BC Must-Have: - Charge experience - Patient ratio experience of 5 - Travel experience required - Preferred experience with Meditech charting system - Preferred experience in community hospital settings - Preferred LTAC experience Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical nursing. The role involves providing care in a fast-paced environment. Previous charge experience is required for this position. Candidates should have a patient ratio experience of 5. Travel experience is a must. Experience with the Meditech charting system is preferred. Candidates with community hospital experience are desired. Experience in LTAC is also preferred. This position requires certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and either CMSRN or RN-BC. Candidates should possess strong communication and time management skills. You will be responsible for patient assessments, care planning, and implementation of nursing interventions. The role may involve working with diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily census for the unit is approximately 20 patients. Interdisciplinary support is available, including therapy and services to assist in patient care. This position will require flexibility, as you may float to other units as necessary.
