Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Duration: 1 year Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 13 hours Experience: One year of registered nursing or education equivalent to a bachelor's or graduate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university or a diploma in registered nursing from an accredited school of nursing. License: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Client or holds a privilege to practice in the Client under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Must-Have: Valid motor vehicle operator license may be required. Description: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse. Experience equivalent to one year of registered nursing is required or an education equivalent to a bachelor's or graduate degree in nursing. Performs registered nursing duties of average difficulty based on a wide range of circumstances. Provides nursing care and procedures according to physician's orders and nursing protocol. Administers medication according to the physician's orders and protocol. Evaluates possible side effects and the overall effectiveness of medication. Performs Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and other emergency responses. Participates in emergency response settings. The end date is set for one year, yet this is based on nursing needs and may change at any time. No special schedules are allowed. Time off requests are not permitted during the first 30 days.
