Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,894 per week in Carthage, TN

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience with IV therapy, Foley catheterization, pain management, and electronic medical administration records (EMAR) Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team. The unit provides care primarily for adult and geriatric patients, with occasional pediatric cases. You will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:5. Common diagnoses include COPD, pneumonia, hip fractures, altered mental status, falls, urinary tract infections, and abdominal pain. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to quality patient care and work collaboratively with others. Required qualifications include a degree in nursing (ADN or BSN) and relevant certifications. Dress code includes scrubs without casual wear. This role does not require floating between units or on-call duties. Rotating weekend shifts may be a part of this position.
