Description: This is a 107-bed facility that provides a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient services. It is accredited by the Joint Commission. The medical-surgical unit serves all ages, with a patient ratio of up to 1:6 with PCA assistance. Common diagnoses treated include COPD, post-operative joint patients, and the diabetic population. The facility is the sole provider of acute care in its service area. Nursing staff may be required to float to like units as needed. Weekly guaranteed hours equal 36, with weekend hours being every other week or as needed. Call requirements are as needed.
