About the Role:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Med Surg unit in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role involves delivering patient-centered care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring high clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor ongoing conditions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Assist with ADLs and patient mobility where applicable
- Monitor vitals, pain levels, and report any clinical changes
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
