Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to neuro and med-surg patients recovering from stroke, head trauma, or surgical interventions
- Monitor neurological status, vital signs, and patient progress closely
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per hospital policy
- Educate patients and families about care plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
- Promote safety, comfort, and dignity in all aspects of patient care
Requirements of the Travel Nurse:
- Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years' recent MedSurg or Neuro nursing experience
