Participates in patient and family teaching. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel. Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Recognizes that each patient is a unique individual. Ensures mutual goal setting between the Registered Nurse and the patient. Assures patient rights and privacy are protected.
