Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,908 per week in Denver, CO

Job Opportunity – Travel Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical) – Colorado

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Denver, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; patient ratio approximately 1:6 (ratios are estimated and not guaranteed)

Highlights:

• 30-bed Medical/Surgical and Oncology unit located on 5th floor of main hospital
• Case mix includes post-surgical care (cholecystectomy, appendectomy) and medical management
• EMR system: Meditech; unit equipped with remote telemetry monitoring
• Staffing includes 4–6 RNs per shift depending on census; collaborative team of 53 nursing professionals
• Travel nursing assignment in a competitive and dynamic acute care environment

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Colorado (or eligible for compact state licensure)
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Medical/Surgical experience in a hospital setting (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Experience with both surgical and medical patient populations strongly preferred
• Candidates with Mother/Baby experience and NRP certification will be considered first
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently
