Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- Provide patient care with a focus on cardiac rhythm interpretation and stroke experience
- Manage medication gtt including cardiac drips, Heparin, and blood products
- Perform PIV starts, chest tube management, and manage various drains and tubes
- Collaborate with supervisors, charge RNs, and resource RNs for patient admissions and discharges
- Flexibly float to other nursing units as needed
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel- 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
