This role is ideal for an RN with a strong background in MedSurg environments, focusing on transitional care and general medical-surgical needs. Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population
  • Manage transitional care patients and common MedSurg cases, including CHF and COPD
  • Execute skilled nursing tasks such as trach and chest tube management, wound care, and IV starts
  • Administer non-titrating drips, including Heparin and Lasix
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and conduct central line blood draws

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele
  • Minimum 2 years of MedSurg experience
  • BLS, ACLS certifications
  • Proficient in using EPIC EMR system
  • Experience with trachs, chest tubes, IV starts, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
