Key Responsibilities of the PCU RN for Float Pool

Provide care to patients on PCU/IMCU floors with cardiac conditions
Administer cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
Manage patient ratios of 1:3-4 on the PCU
Serve in telemetry beds for lower acuity levels as needed

Requirements of the PCU RN for Float Pool

BLS/ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar sized facility
Proficient with EPIC EMR
