Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,927 per week in Houston, TX

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Hepatology (MedSurg/Tele) Duration: 6 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Charge experience preferred, experience with basic EKG interpretation, and knowledge of cardiac drips. Description: Unit focuses on liver diseases. All acute care patients across various specialties. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Weekends are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. Holidays are rotated with permanent staff. Shifts are from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM. Staff must arrive 15 minutes early for shift change. Scheduled based on unit needs. Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred. Daily tasks include interpreting telemetry strips. All RNs must be knowledgeable in performing cardiac drips as part of floating requirements. Charge experience is preferred but not mandatory.
