Schedule: Night shift, 36 or 48 hours per week, 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, 13-20 week assignment available. Weekend requirement of 5-6 shifts per contract (approximately every other weekend). Floating required; travelers float first within the facility.

Requirements:
- Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
- Experience with telemetry monitoring, starting and maintaining IVs, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Competency with CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) care, isolation precautions, peripheral line care, and non-invasive airway management
- Preferred: Neuro experience, NIH stroke scale proficiency, charge nurse experience or willingness to learn the charge role
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Additional Information:

- Pre-start online modules required (approximately 8-10 hours, completed using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge)
- Navy blue scrubs required (not provided)
