Description:
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion.
Employs independent judgment when providing care.
Collects relevant data pertinent to patients’ health or situations.
Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
